Your camera could be the key to solving a crime!
Register your security camera and information with North Park Police Department. This will be added to a secure list accessible to our officers and detectives. When a crime occurs, the officers and detectives can search the camera registry for that location to find possible cameras that captured the incident. They will be able to reach out to the owners of the cameras to request footage. Follow the steps below to register your camera and keep our community safe!
Help our officers by letting us know you have a security camera. Whether it’s a professional CCTV system or a doorbell camera, simply fill out the secure form below with your contact information and the area your camera monitors (e.g., ‘Front Porch’ or ‘West Driveway’).
This program does not give the North Park Police Department live access to your cameras. We cannot ‘tap in’ or see your footage at any time. Your information is kept in a secure, confidential database accessible only to law enforcement.
If a crime occurs in your neighborhood—such as a porch piracy, vehicle theft, or a missing person case—our detectives will check the registry. We may contact you to ask if your camera captured anything during a specific timeframe.
If you have relevant footage, you can choose to share it with us via a secure link or by meeting with an officer. Your assistance can significantly speed up investigations and help us keep our community safe.
